Youth Leaders Council learns our town history
Our Youth Leaders Council learned some of the history of our town at their November meeting focused on Historic Preservation. Thank you to Board Member Trish Bouldin for organizing the photo scavenger hunt and history quiz and Main Street member Joe Edmonson for giving them a tour of the Pythian building!
The Youth Leaders Council meets once a month September-April. The group consists of 16 students from LCHS, FCHS, and RCA. They receive points for meetings and Main Street events attended. At the end of the program, a scholarship will be awarded to the student(s) with the most points.
