Third Thursday
Downtown Businesses Extend Hours for Monthly Initiative
In an exciting Fayetteville Main Street initiative to foster community engagement and support local commerce, participating downtown businesses will be staying open late until 8 PM on the third Thursday of each month. This new initiative, aptly named "Third Thursday," aims to create a vibrant and bustling atmosphere, providing residents and visitors with more opportunities to explore, shop, and dine in the heart of our city.
"Third Thursday" will see a diverse array of downtown retailers and restaurants extending their hours. From boutique shops to eateries, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
"Third Thursday" is more than just a night out; it’s a community-driven initiative designed to:
- Boost Local Economy: By encouraging residents to shop locally, we aim to strengthen our downtown businesses and keep more dollars within our community.
- Enhance Downtown Experience: Extended hours offer a unique opportunity for people to experience downtown in a new light, fostering a sense of community and place.
- Support Small Businesses: Small businesses are the backbone of our downtown, and this initiative is a way to show our support and appreciation for their contributions.
"Third Thursday is an exciting opportunity for our community to come together and support our local businesses," said Joseph Faulkner, President of Fayetteville Main Street. "We hope everyone will take advantage of the extended hours and experience all that our downtown has to offer."
