Meet Shannon and Mike Doherty, Owners of Domino’s in Fayetteville

Last Updated 10/21/2025Posted in Business Spotlight

Meet Shannon and Mike Doherty, proud owners of Fayetteville’s Domino’s since August 2, 2021. Their journey with Domino’s began long before then — in fact, the couple first met at a Domino’s fastest pizza-making competition back in 1995. Nearly three decades later, they’ve turned that shared passion into a thriving business partnership.

Today, Shannon and Mike own four Domino’s locations across Lincoln, Giles, Lawrence, and Limestone Counties. Their newest location in Ardmore holds a special place in their hearts, as it’s the first store they built entirely from the ground up.

Local Ownership, Local Pride

When asked what they love most about being business owners, they both agree — it’s the freedom. The ability to make their own schedule and shape their business to reflect their values is what makes the experience truly rewarding.

And while Domino’s is a national brand, Shannon and Mike are proud to emphasize that their Fayetteville location is locally owned and operated. They live here, work here, and care deeply about this community.

Best Sellers

It’s no surprise that cheesy bread and parm bites are among their most popular menu items — both are local favorites and staples for pizza night in Fayetteville.

Why Main Street Fayetteville

Shannon and Mike joined Main Street Fayetteville to connect with their neighbors and show that Domino’s is more than a national name — it’s a business run by people who are invested in the community’s success. They appreciate how Main Street works to revitalize downtown and bring people together through events, partnerships, and local support.

So, the next time you order from Domino’s Fayetteville, remember — you’re not just supporting a great meal; you’re supporting local owners who are proud to call Lincoln County home.
