Why She Loves Owning a Business
“I love what I do. I love the people of Lincoln County. I love offering healthy options and knowing people are getting healthier. My husband and I opened this business during COVID—it’s been a tough five years, and we’ve been through a lot. I lost my husband to brain cancer last year, and I’ve had to learn a lot about running the business side of things. It hurts, because I want him to see this and be proud of me. But I’m so thankful for my employees and customers who have gotten me through it. My customers have become my family, and I truly enjoy catching up with them when they come in.”
