Fayetteville Main Street Announces Heather McCormick as Executive Director

Fayetteville, Tenn. — Fayetteville Main Street is pleased to announce that Heather McCormick has accepted the position of Executive Director, beginning October 12, 2026.

Heather is a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and has been actively involved with Fayetteville Main Street for the past six years, serving most recently as Board President. Through her involvement, she has developed strong relationships with downtown merchants, community partners, volunteers, and local leaders and has seen firsthand the impact Main Street has on downtown Fayetteville.

Heather also serves on the board of the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum and has served as the museum’s auditorium rental coordinator for more than 18 years. Her years of community involvement have given her a deep appreciation for Fayetteville, its history, and the people and businesses that make the community special.

     “I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve Fayetteville Main Street in this new role. I care deeply about our downtown and our     community. Aimee has done so much to grow Fayetteville Main Street into what it is today, and I’m thankful for the strong foundation     she has built. I’m excited to continue that work while learning the role and finding ways we can keep moving Main Street forward. I     know there will be a learning curve as I become familiar with all of the day-to-day responsibilities of the Executive Director position, and     I ask for a little patience and grace along the way. I’m ready to learn, work hard, listen, and do everything I can to help Main Street     continue moving forward.”

Heather and her husband, Jason, are lifelong members of the Lincoln County community and have two children, Cailyn and Reed.

Fayetteville Main Street looks forward to this next chapter and continuing its mission of supporting downtown businesses, preserving the character of the historic downtown district, and creating opportunities that bring the community together.
