Fayetteville Main Street is excited to announce that we are now accepting nominations to fill open board positions—and we want to hear from YOU!

Why Join the Fayetteville Main Street Board?

As a member of the Fayetteville Main Street Board, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our downtown. From supporting local businesses and organizing community events to preserving the heart of our city, this is your chance to contribute directly to the betterment of Fayetteville. Our board is a WORKING BOARD, so be prepared to WORK! 

Board members have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with a team of community-minded individuals.
  • Lead initiatives that promote economic growth and cultural vibrancy.
  • Advocate for local businesses and create meaningful partnerships.
  • Influence projects that make downtown Fayetteville a destination for residents and visitors alike.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from anyone passionate about Fayetteville’s downtown community but priority will be given to those who are Members of Main Street. Whether you’re a resident, a local business owner, or simply someone who loves Fayetteville and its unique charm, you’re encouraged to apply. 

The Membership Body will vote for open board positions at the Membership Meeting on January 5th at 5:30PM. New board members are required to attend an onboarding meeting January 12th as well as our annual work session on January 25th. Monthly board meetings are generally held on the 3rd Monday of each month. 


Deadline to apply is December 1st.
