Get Ready to Laugh This Holiday Season: “Silver Belles” Brings Christmas Cheer to the Stage!
The Carriage House Players are spreading holiday joy with their upcoming production of Silver Belles: A Christmas Comedy by Lauren Grove — a delightful story packed with laughter, heart, and a touch of holiday magic. Performances will take place at the Lincoln County Museum Theatre on November 14, 15, 20 & 21 at 7:00 p.m. and November 16 & 22 at 2:00 p.m.
Directed by Krysa Spears with Vanessia Steelman as Assistant Director, Silver Belles is a feel-good comedy that’s perfect for kicking off the holiday season.
A Heartwarming Story with a Comedic Twist
The play invites audiences to the Silver Meadows Retirement Home, where a lively group of residents are busy preparing for Christmas. Their festive plans take a turn, however, when scheming real estate mogul Frank Davenport decides he wants to turn their beloved home into a luxury hotel.
When Frank’s son, Nick, is sent to deliver the bad news, he runs into his old flame Kate — who just happens to be the fiercely loyal manager of Silver Meadows. What follows is a hilarious and heart-tugging tale about friendship, redemption, and the true meaning of home.
