Meet the Member: Don Adams, Owner of Jazzberry Farm

Last Updated 11/7/2025Posted in Business Spotlight

Meet Don Adams, the creative mind behind Jazzberry Farm, established in 2012 and known for its unique line of freeze-dried fruits and vegetables — and yes, a few sweet treats too — all with a flavorful twist.

While many in the freeze-dried market focus on candy, Don takes a different approach. His top-selling product, Creole Okra Popcorn, is a crunchy, spicy favorite that customers can’t get enough of. Many of his ingredients are grown right on his own farm, creating a true farm-to-table (and shelf) experience that sets Jazzberry Farm apart.

Fun Fact: Before launching Jazzberry Farm, Don was a band director and professional musician, performing with world-renowned artists. His musical background inspired the name Jazzberry Farm — a reflection of rhythm, creativity, and flavor blended into every product.

What He Loves Most:
“I enjoy the creativity and freedom that come with owning a business,” Don says. “It’s a small, part-time venture since I’m retired, but it keeps me active and engaged in something I love.”

Why Main Street:
Don joined Main Street Fayetteville for the resources, support, and sense of community it provides. “It’s run extremely well, and the programs have been incredibly beneficial for my business,” he shares.
