Meet the Member: Arch Trimble of Arch About TN

Last Updated 4/1/2026Posted in Business Spotlight

Arch Trimble, founder of Arch About TN, brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to economic development in Tennessee. Based in Chattanooga, Arch launched his consulting firm after an experience that reshaped how he viewed communities across the state.

A few years ago, after stepping away from the insurance industry, Arch decided to spend more time with his family. What started as a simple idea—traveling to state parks and exploring Tennessee—quickly grew into a much larger journey. Alongside his wife and two young children, Arch visited all 95 counties in Tennessee, completing an activity in each one. That experience not only created lasting family memories but also opened his eyes to the opportunities and challenges facing communities statewide.

Throughout his travels, Arch met with local leaders, business owners, and residents. He found that, regardless of location, many communities were facing similar issues—workforce development, education, and sustainable economic growth. After offering advice and insight along the way, he realized there was an opportunity to turn that knowledge into something more structured. With encouragement from his wife, Arch About TN was born.

Today, Arch works with small businesses, nonprofits, and communities to help them navigate challenges and grow strategically. His consulting spans a wide range of areas, including business development, fundraising, and organizational strategy. At the core of his work is a desire to help families and communities succeed by strengthening the businesses that support them.

Arch is a strong advocate for small towns and believes they play a critical role in the future of the state. He emphasizes the importance of vibrant downtowns, noting that a thriving Main Street is often the foundation for broader economic development. When communities invest in their local businesses and keep dollars circulating locally, the impact multiplies and creates long-term sustainability.

In addition to his consulting work, Arch is also a yoga instructor in Chattanooga. Teaching yoga is one of the ways he stays connected to others and contributes to the well-being of those around him.

Arch joined Fayetteville Main Street because of his belief in community and his commitment to supporting the people who are working to make it stronger. His connection to Fayetteville, along with his broader work across Tennessee, reflects a consistent mission: invest in people, support small businesses, and build communities that will continue to grow for generations to come.
