Meet the Member: Nicole Treola of 1952 Social

Last Updated 4/21/2026Posted in Business Spotlight

Nicole Treola is the visionary behind 1952 Social, a new event space in downtown Fayetteville designed to bring people together in a stylish and welcoming environment. With a background in interior design and years of experience planning events, Nicole has created a space that reflects both her creativity and her passion for community.

The name “1952” holds deep personal meaning. It marks the year Nicole’s grandparents were married, and her grandfather—someone she admired greatly—inspired her work ethic and drive. His influence played a significant role in shaping her desire to build something meaningful, not just for herself, but for others.

The opportunity to open 1952 Social came when Nicole and her family acquired the building at the beginning of the year. What had long been a dream quickly became reality. Located on a prominent corner in downtown Fayetteville, the space offers both visibility and accessibility, making it an ideal location for gatherings of all kinds.

1952 Social was designed with versatility in mind. The venue can host a wide range of events, including bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, graduation celebrations, and holiday gatherings. Guests have the option to rent individual areas or the entire building, depending on their needs. The layout includes a larger event space as well as a more intimate lounge area, allowing for flexibility in both size and atmosphere.

One of Nicole’s favorite features is the lounge, which was designed to feel relaxed and inviting. With its unique design elements and comfortable layout, it serves as a place where people can gather, unwind, and connect. To further encourage community engagement, 1952 Social hosts Community Connection Nights on Mondays, providing a space for locals to come together when many other downtown businesses are closed.

Nicole’s approach to the space reflects her desire to keep events personal. She intentionally designed the interior to be minimal enough that each event can stand out, allowing guests and their celebrations to take center stage.

Beyond the business itself, Nicole values being part of Fayetteville Main Street. For her, joining Main Street is about more than visibility—it’s about contributing to the growth and success of the community. She believes in supporting other local businesses, creating opportunities for connection, and helping build a downtown that people are proud of.

Through 1952 Social, Nicole Treola is not only offering a beautiful event space, but also creating a place where memories are made, relationships are strengthened, and the community continues to grow.
